Scoring

Moving the Pegs

After the scoring is complete, players move their pegs on the cribbage board based on the points earned during that round. Each player moves their rear peg ahead of their front peg by the appropriate number of holes. The holes on the cribbage board are arranged in groups of five, and players advance along the board as they accumulate points.

The Next Round

Following the movement of the pegs, the players prepare for the next round. The non-dealer becomes the dealer, the cards are shuffled, and a new round begins. Play continues in this manner until one player reaches the end of the cribbage board, which typically consists of 121 holes, declaring them the winner of the game.
