Gameplay and Rules of the UNO Attack Card Game
The UNO Attack card game is a popular variation of the classic UNO game that adds an exciting twist to the gameplay. Commonly known as UNO Attack or UNO Extreme, this version features an electronic card shooter, adding unpredictability and tension to the game.
The UNO Attack card game includes the following components:
The goal of UNO Attack is to be the first player to get rid of all the cards in your hand.
At the beginning of the game, the electronic card shooter is loaded with cards and placed in the center of the play area. Each player receives 7 cards, and the remaining deck is placed face-down, serving as the draw pile. The top card from the draw pile is revealed and placed next to it to start the discard pile.
The player to the left of the dealer starts the game. They must match the number, color, or symbol of the card on the top of the discard pile. If a player cannot play a matching card, they must draw one card from the draw pile. If the drawn card can be played, the player can immediately do so. Otherwise, their turn ends.
The action cards add an extra layer of strategy and excitement to the game:
In UNO Attack, there is a new type of card called the Attack card. When an Attack card is played, the next player must press the button on the electronic card shooter. The shooter will then randomly spit out a stream of cards. The unlucky player must add all the cards received into their hand, potentially stacking up more cards and increasing their chances of losing. It is important to note that if a player doesn't have any cards left after an Attack card, they do not need to press the button.
The game continues clockwise until one player has only one card left. At that point, they must yell "UNO!" to indicate that they are down to their last card. If they fail to do so and are caught by another player, they must draw two additional cards as a penalty.
UNO Attack also introduces customizable cards, which allow players to create their own rules. The three Customizable Wild cards can be written on to change the game while playing, adding a personal touch. The five Customizable Wild Swap Hands cards allow a player to swap their hand with any opponent of their choosing. These cards offer a fun way to customize the game and make it more unpredictable.
Remember, the game ends when one player gets rid of all their cards, and they are declared the winner. If the draw pile ever runs out, the discard pile (except for the top card) is shuffled and used as a new draw pile.
UNO Attack is an exciting and fast-paced card game that brings a new level of intensity to the classic UNO experience. The electronic card shooter and the addition of Attack cards add an unpredictable element that keeps players on the edge of their seats. Gather your friends and family, shuffle the deck, and get ready to experience the thrill of UNO Attack!
